Annamarie Francois, executive director of UCLA’s Center X, and Pedro Noguera, UCLA Distinguished Professor of Education, appear in a promotional video for UCLA’s “Knowledge Solves” campaign, featured today in The Los Angeles Times. The clip, which features LAUSD teachers and professionals – many alumni of UCLA’s Teacher Education Program – highlights the mission and professional development opportunities of Center X.
Francois is an ex-officio representative of the University of California for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Professor Noguera directs the Center for the Transformation of Schools at UCLA.
