Robert A. Rhoads: Celebration of Life to Be Held at UCLA Luskin Center  

Event on Jan. 31 will honor the late UCLA professor of Higher Education and co-director of the UCLA Educational Leadership Program.

“A Celebration of Life and Scholarship for Rob Rhoads” will be held on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the UCLA at the Luskin Conference Center. The late Professor of Higher Education and Co-Director of the Educational Leadership Program conducted extensive research on global citizenship, online learning, and research universities in China. He died on October 25 at his home in Los Angeles.

“We will honor our dear colleague and friend Dr. Rob Rhoads,” says Professor Christina (Tina) Christie, chair of the UCLA Department of Education. “Please join us to celebrate his life and work. All are welcome.”

Attendees will be welcomed at 10:30 a.m. and a short program will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served following the program.
