Second Annual Research and Inquiry Conference to Showcase Engaged Scholarship at UCLA Ed & IS

All current students are invited to submit proposals; deadline is Feb. 15.

The 2nd Annual UCLA Ed & IS Research and Inquiry Conference will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the UCLA Faculty Center. Submissions are now being accepted that embody the conference theme, “Engaged Scholarship: Bridging Research and Practice.”

All current UCLA Ed & IS students are invited to submit proposals; both individual and team submissions will be considered. UCLA Ed & IS faculty and students will review proposals after submission. If you are interested in serving as a reviewer of proposals, please contact Kate Riedell at kateriedell@gmail.com.

All students will be notified about the status of their proposals by April 1, 2014.  Support for paper presentation and poster development will be provided for all accepted proposals. Awards will be given for the best posters and presentations based on the assessment by proposal reviewers and conference attendees.
