UCLA @ AERA 2019: A Roundup

UCLA's Department of Education takes on the challenge of addressing the question of making educational research matter in a "post-truth" political era.

At the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) in Toronto which took place in early April, representatives of the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies turned out in force to take on the challenge of addressing the conference theme, Leveraging Education Research in a Post-Truth Era. The innovative work of UCLA’s diverse and talented faculty, students, and researchers was showcased in poster sessions, roundtable discussions on key issues, research seminars on critical topics, and AERA Presidential Sessions highlighting the work of distinguished scholars.
