Johanna Drucker, Breslauer Professor of Bibliographical Studies in the UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies, is featured in a Q&A in the latest issue of UCLA Ed & IS Magazine, published this spring online only.
In the interview, Professor Drucker discusses the ways that information professionals can not only support and enhance the remote learning environment that now exists for students at all levels, but also the essential work within medical and public health communities through data production and tracking, contact tracking, and other areas of applied expertise. In addition, she notes that information professionals can also aid the public in learning to navigate and sort information from misinformation.
