Twelve from UCLA Ed Named Inspirational Teachers of 2015 by United Way

TEP alumni, Center X Fellows and mentors number nearly half of 25 educators recognized for innovative teaching in Los Angeles schools.

Alumni of UCLA’s Teacher Education Program (TEP) and Principal Leadership Institute (PLI), Center X Fellows and teacher mentors, and other teachers associated with UCLA Ed & IS have been honored as Inspirational Teachers of 2015 by the United Way of Greater Los Angeles (UWGLA).

A group of LAUSD educators worked with UWGLA to create the process for choosing this year’s recipients and narrowed hundreds of nominations down to 25 outstanding teachers.
